The infrastructure is dedicated to carrying on real climate experimental measurements, numerical modeling, and thermal and energy performance of building elements and solutions. It consists , basically, of two independent isolated chambers with air conditioning controlled system, temperature and relative humidity acquisition data system and a weather station (http://www.weatherlink.com/user/cmade/). It enables the study of thermal performance of vertical and horizontally building large elements.
Chambers total dimensions (LxLxH in m): 3,09 x 5,09 x 3,09.
Maximum size of testing elements (LxL in m): 1,0 x 2,25.
