Meaning of C-MADE logo

The logo of C-MADE stands for science protecting the planet Earth on finding alternative solutions for exploring natural resources (raw materials, water and energy) and developing environmentally friendly materials and building technologies. The capital text “C MADE” represents the research proactivity of C-MADE members. C stands for research Centre and MADE is synonymous of waged or fulfilled. The green and blue are the planet Earth colours.

              

The first logo was designed by Joana Casteleiro in 2007, followed by small changes in 2013 made by Nuno Santos. C-MADE current logo is a restyle of the original and was made by Gonçalo Nina in March 2017.
